Job summary

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems, Cyber & Intelligence is seeking a Senior Logistician to support property management, inventory control, and shipments for system integrations and upgrades at US facilities.

You will maintain the Defense Property Accountability System, produce monthly inventory reports, coordinate shipments, and implement material handling processes in line with government guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• 10+ years of experience as a Logistician.
• Experience with property accounting processes and the associated forms.
• Knowledge of automated inventory control systems.
• Experience with ordering, processing, shipping, receiving, packaging, material handling and property accountability.
• Experience with processing Government Bill of Lading and the DD1149 paperwork.
• Current US Security Clearance with a polygraph (updated within the last 7 years).

The Work:
Primary responsibilities of the Logistician Sr are as follows:

• Supports property manager duties

• Establishes program level Defense Property Accountability System(s) for incoming property (Line Item Receiving Report), transferred property and excessed property
• Coordinates and performs all property accountability functions and property management functions in accordance with government guidance and industry best practices
• Provides monthly inventory reports in accordance with government guidelines
• Develops material handling processes for shipping, receiving, storage and disposition of property

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Ten (10)+ years of experience working as a Logistician
• Experience with property accounting processes to include the associated forms.
• Knowledge of automated inventory control systems.
• Experience shall include ordering, processing, shipping, receiving, packaging, material handling, property accountability and discharge of excess property.
• Experience with processing paperwork related to Government Bill of Lading and the DD1149.
• Current US Security Clearance with a polygraph (updated within the last 7 years)

Full-Time Salary Range: $81500.00 - $151300.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
