Job summary

RXO is a leading transportation solutions provider leveraging cutting-edge technology across North America. The Senior Logistics Engineer in Managed Transportation will analyze data to craft marketable solutions for clients and drive efficiency for RXO’s account teams.

The day-to-day includes leading supply chain and transportation technology initiatives, SME support for TMS, and delivering cost-saving projects with stakeholders. Strong data skills and a bachelor’s degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
• 2 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, decision support systems/technology, transportation management, distribution, or procurement.
• Experience data mining and generating simulations in Microsoft BI, Access, and Excel to identify opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of Supply Chain and Transportation Technology Solutions for clients including demonstrations, implementation, configuration, testing and deployment support.
• Serve as SME for Transportation Management Systems and system integrations with clients and partners.
• Define business requirements, design processes, implement changes, and document requirements.
• Research best practices and technology-driven solutions to improve client operations.
• Understand customer processes to enhance cross-functional initiatives and communicate improvements.
• Identify cost savings initiatives and manage projects through implementation.
• Provide value propositions by analyzing data and crafting client-ready solutions.
• Communicate project activities to stakeholders and clients.
