Job summary

RXO is seeking a Senior Logistics Engineer in Managed Transportation to design and deliver marketable supply chain solutions. You will collect and analyze data to drive efficiency for RXO's client accounts, and lead initiatives that enhance both client operations and internal RXO processes.

The role requires expertise in supply chain management, transportation systems, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work with a cutting-edge tech stack to improve outcomes and support strategic

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
2 years of experience in key functional areas: supply chain management, logistics, decision support systems/technology, transportation management, distribution, or procurement functional responsibilities.
Experience data mining and generating simulations in Microsoft BI, Access, and Excel to identify and scope opportunities within the customer's supply chain.

Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of Supply Chain and Transportation Technology Solutions for Clients including demonstrations, implementation, hands-on execution of configuration, testing and deployment support.
Serve as SME for Transportation Management Systems and System Integrations with Clients and Business partners.
Provide SME to support business requirement definition, process design, implementation of processes, and organizational change. Document and maintain functional requirements.
Research and analyze best practices and Technology driven solutions.
Develop understanding of customer processes to enhance cross-functional initiatives and communicate solution improvements.
Identify cost savings initiatives and manage projects through implementation.
Provide value propositions by identifying opportunities through data collection and analysis; craft marketable solutions for clients.
Communicate and collaborate project activities to key stakeholders both internally and with clients.
Help execute process and strategy improvements related to supply chain focused on transportation improvement projects.
Research root cause of issues - recommend improvements in existing processes and implement action plans.
