Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Logistics Sr. Analyst to leverage data and systems to optimize logistics operations, forecast needs, and support major initiatives.

You will manage large datasets, develop scorecards, and communicate findings to leadership. Ideal candidates have hands-on Maximo experience, advanced Excel, and strong stakeholder skills to mentor others and drive cost savings across warehouse, fulfillment, and distribution environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Maximo.
• Experience with Maximo applications, including Inventory, Item Master, Storerooms, Purchasing, and Receiving.
• Advanced Excel skills with strong data analysis capabilities.
• Experience managing and analyzing large datasets.
• Strong forecasting, reporting, and process improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes quantitative skills to create and analyze reports to support business execution. Supports the business through ad-hoc queries, and maintains reports from a variety of resources as specific to department or organizational needs.
• Develops business tools and solutions based on knowledge, product or technology. Identifies Logistics process improvement opportunities through strategic thinking, critical thinking and analysis.
• Provides recommendations to senior management. Mentors and guides Logistics Analysts.
• Performs data management through data mining/data modeling/data analysis/cost/benefit analysis/process mapping/%/or problem analysis while executing day to day processes related to area of responsibility. Develops & maintains cost estimates, forecasts, and cost models. Supports business through ad-hoc queries & maintains reports.
• Manages vendor/business partner relationships
