Job summary

The Home Depot in Atlanta is seeking a Logistics Analyst to apply data-driven methods to understand, predict, and improve logistics operations. You will manage data, analyze performance, and develop actionable recommendations while coordinating with multiple teams and vendors.

Responsibilities include creating and analyzing reports, developing tools, supporting cost estimates and forecasts, and handling ad-hoc data requests to support department goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Math or Finance.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in analytics or logistics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word, Visio).
• Experience with Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• 25% Create and analyze reports to support business execution.
• 25% Develops business tools and solutions based on knowledge, product or technology and identifies Logistics process improvement.
• 15% Supports vendor/business partner relationships.
• 15% Develops and maintains cost estimates, forecasts, and cost models
• 10% Performs data management through data mining, data modeling, data analysis, cost/benefit analysis and/or problem analysis; executes day to day processes related to area of responsibility.
• 10% Supports the business through ad-hoc queries, and maintains reports from a variety of resources as specific to department or organizational needs
