Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Sr. Logistics Analyst to drive data-driven decisions in our Atlanta-area logistics organization. You’ll lead analytical projects, develop tools to streamline processes, and partner with senior leadership to implement improvements across the supply chain.

Qualifications

3 years of work experience in logistics or analytics.
Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
Experience with Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word and Visio.
Advanced skills in Mini-Tab, SQL, Visual Basic and Visio-Process Mapping.

Responsibilities

Utilizes quantitative skills to create and analyze reports to support business execution.
Develops business tools and solutions based on knowledge, product or technology to improve logistics processes.
Provides recommendations to senior management and mentors Logistics Analysts.
Performs data mining, modeling, analysis, cost/benefit analysis, and process mapping while supporting day-to-day operations.
Manages vendor/business partner relationships.
