Builder Circle is seeking a Default & Workout Manager to own high-risk, distressed credits and loans within the portfolio. You will evaluate financial damage, negotiate restructurings, and recover principal or collateral while complying with regulations.

This is the process owner for workouts company-wide, with emphasis on RTL or hard-money construction lending experience. You will lead negotiations, coordinate with legal teams, and drive reporting for senior management while overseeing REO

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related business field.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in commercial or consumer lending, credit analysis, collections, or loan workouts.
• Strong familiarity with federal/state banking regulations, bankruptcy laws, and real estate foreclosure procedures.

Mansioni

• Review troubled loan portfolios, analyze financial statements, assess collateral values, and track NPAs.
• Own accounts that progress into default, including structuring and negotiating workouts.
• Design, propose, and implement customized repayment or modification plans to avoid default.
• Lead direct negotiations with borrowers, guarantors, private equity sponsors, and legal counsel.
• Coordinate handoff of properties moving to REO, including required documentation and reporting to leadership.
• Coordinate with legal teams to ensure actions comply with federal/state regulations and investor guidelines.
• Supervise seizure, valuation, and liquidation of repossessed assets when restructuring fails.
• Manage lien releases and physical loan file handling associated with default and payoff.
• Prepare portfolio performance reports, delinquency metrics, and reserve recommendations.
