Deutsche Bank AG in New York seeks a Director to lead the Workout and Recovery team, owning case strategy and execution for stressed corporate exposures. You will supervise complex restructurings, negotiate with borrowers and sponsors, and ensure risk-adjusted outcomes in line with credit policies.

The role combines senior leadership with hands-on analysis, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration across workout colleagues, risk management, and legal teams, while championing

Competenze

• Experience leading restructurings and negotiations for distressed borrowers and complex exposures.
• Strong financial modeling, cash-flow forecasting and recovery analysis.
• Ability to present recommendations clearly to senior management and credit committees.
• Proven use of AI tools to improve productivity while exercising judgment.
• Independent judgment and strong communication under pressure.

Mansioni

• Own complex distressed cases from diagnosis through resolution and execute restructuring or insolvency strategies.
• Assess viability, cash flows, liquidity and collateral value to guide recovery decisions.
• Evaluate covenants, security interests and intercreditor rights with legal counsel.
• Lead negotiations with borrowers, sponsors, lenders and advisers.
• Present evidence-based recommendations to senior management and approval forums.
• Maintain portfolio monitoring, governance and compliance with credit and regulatory requirements.
