Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mortgage Loan Processor (Bilingual Mandarin) to join our growing team. This role is critical in ensuring smooth, compliant, and efficient loan processing from submission to closing.

The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, and brings deep knowledge of mortgage guidelines and documentation. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior processors and driving process improvements using modern tools, including AI-powered solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of mortgage loan files from submission through closing
• Review loan applications and documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
• Ensure adherence to investor guidelines, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
• Communicate effectively with Loan Officers, underwriters, borrowers, and third parties
• Identify and resolve issues proactively to prevent delays in closing
• Maintain accurate and timely updates in the loan origination system (LOS)
• Train, mentor, and support junior team members
• Continuously improve workflows and leverage technology to increase efficiency

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a mortgage loan processor or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of mortgage lending guidelines, compliance, and documentation
• Experience handling high loan volume in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with loan origination systems (LOS) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy

Technology & AI Proficiency (Required)

• Comfortable using modern technology tools to improve productivity and workflow
• Experience or willingness to learn AI-powered tools (e.g., ChatGPT, automation tools, document processing AI) to enhance efficiency and decision-making
