Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's in banking/finance is an asset.
• 3–4 years of experience in commercial lending documentation.
• 3–4 years of Loan Assistant I or comparable experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in tracking and management of the loan pipeline and maturities.
• Prioritize tasks to meet processing goals and customer expectations.
• Provide back-up support to other Loan Assistants for PTO/absences.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal lending regulations and bank policies.
• Collect and organize borrower documentation such as income verification, credit reports, and IDs.
• Input data into loan processing systems accurately; order title/UCC searches, appraisals, flood certifications as needed.
• Coordinate closings with lenders, attorneys, insurance agents, and clients; initiate disbursement of closing funds.
