Job summary

Susser Bank is seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage loan and credit file maintenance, document preparation, and closing support. You will process real estate renewals, set up loan packages, and coordinate with title companies and attorneys to ensure accurate, compliant closings.

The role includes client-facing duties in the lobby, teller tasks, and cross-selling opportunities while maintaining confidentiality and regulatory compliance across all loan activities.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent education and experience required.
• Five years of job-related experience required, preferably in the financial industry.
• Experience with loan documentation, closing and maintenance of loan files.
• Proficiency with loan origination software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the development and maintenance of loan and credit files; prepares loan documents for officers.
• Provides clerical and customer service support in the bank lobby.
• Processes new and renewal documents, renewals on real estate files.
• Prepares appraisal and loan setup packets; orders documents and titles.
• Processes and closes loan documents in person with customers.
• Manages loan processing from approval to closing; handles mail and signatures for exceptions.
• Orders title commitments, surveys, appraisals, and reports.
• Prepares HMDA for applicable loans and drafts instructions.
• Handles loan status communications with LO, Compliance, officers, and customers.
• Performs teller duties and supports cross-selling of products.
• Maintains security and confidentiality; adheres to laws and regulations.
