Job summary

Lockheed Martin in King of Prussia, PA, seeks an experienced Loads and Dynamics Analyst Mechanical Engineer to perform advanced structural dynamics analyses for missile and spacecraft hardware. You will work in a multi-disciplinary team on dynamic testing, modeling, and data evaluation, with opportunities to contribute to critical defense programs.

The role requires a bachelor’s in mechanical or aerospace engineering, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering (ABET/accredited).
• Master's degree preferred for advanced analysis roles.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• Experience with structural dynamics and FEA methods.
• Knowledge of missile/spacecraft structural testing and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural dynamic analyses for missile and spacecraft hardware.
• Conduct loads development and vibration/shock environment assessments.
• Create and maintain analytical models for deployment events and response behavior.
• Prepare test plans and execute static, dynamic, and modal tests; document results.
• Analyze post-test data and provide engineering insights to peers and customers.
• Support requirements flow-down and task planning within project budgets and schedules.
• Communicate analysis results to engineering teams and stakeholders.
