Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) seeks a Senior Technical Professional to support a major LNG project through engineering, construction, commissioning, and startup. You will serve as a senior technical resource, providing leadership and guidance across disciplines to ensure safe, efficient project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years in LNG, petrochemical, refinery, gas processing, or energy projects, with experience in EPC/EPCM or owner-led environments and a proven track

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in LNG, petrochemical, refinery, gas processing, or energy projects.
• Experience supporting large capital projects through engineering, construction, commissioning, and startup.
• Knowledge of LNG process facilities, mechanical systems, piping, electrical/instrumentation, construction, QA/QC, turnover, and startup.
• Experience in EPC/EPCM or owner-led project environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical resource supporting engineering, construction, commissioning, and startup.
• Provide technical leadership on multidisciplinary issues affecting project execution.
• Review and evaluate engineering deliverables, work packages, procedures, and commissioning plans.
• Support field teams in resolving technical issues and identifying practical solutions.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, construction, quality, and commissioning teams to meet objectives.
• Lead technical reviews, risk assessments, and value-improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote safety culture.
