Job summary

Cheniere Energy, Inc. is seeking an Engineer/Senior, Process to provide process expertise for LNG plant operations, commissioning, and start-up. You will support operations and maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to capital projects while ensuring safety and environmental compliance.

The role requires strong knowledge of LNG process engineering, process simulations, and collaboration with multiple departments to meet business objectives in a challenging industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. A PE license is a plus.
• 3+ years’ experience in an industrial engineering or operations role.
• 5+ years’ experience for Senior Engineer in LNG, petrochemical, or hydrocarbon processing.
• Experience with LNG liquefaction, commissioning and start-up is a plus.
• Familiar with process simulation software and safety processes such as MOC, PHA/HAZOP.

Responsibilities

• Develop tools to monitor process performance and recommend improvements.
• Support Operations in troubleshooting process issues.
• Develop and run simulations to support plant operations and capital projects.
• Design tests to enhance production or solve process problems.
• Provide process engineering support for commissioning, start-up, and operation of LNG facilities.
• Participate in process hazards analyses and regulatory audits.
• Support procedure development and training for capital projects and operations.
