Job summary

Venture Global LNG seeks a Principal Process Engineer to provide senior technical leadership for LNG process engineering across operating facilities and assets, driving safe, reliable performance and technically sound solutions.

You will lead design reviews, model verification, and operating guidance while collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, and Projects to improve efficiency, reliability, and emissions performance.

Qualifications

Minimum 15 years of progressive process engineering experience in LNG, natural gas processing, petrochemical, refining, or hydrocarbon-processing industry, including LNG liquefaction.
Strong knowledge of LNG liquefaction, refrigeration, cryogenic heat transfer, gas treatment, compression, storage and loading, and related utilities.
Demonstrated ability to develop, review, and validate heat and material balances, PFDs/P&IDs, process simulations, and related calculations.
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering; Professional Engineer registration preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as the operations technical authority for LNG process engineering and provide independent review for high-risk decisions.
Develop and maintain process engineering requirements, design criteria, specifications, and operating guidance.
Lead or support HAZOPs, LOPA, MOC, and other risk assessments.
Provide process engineering input for brownfield mods, expansions, and major capital projects.
Coach and mentor engineers, communicate complex issues clearly, and influence cross-discipline teams.
