Job summary

Vekend, Llc is seeking a seasoned software engineer to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade Agentic AI and LLM solutions. You will work closely with business and engineering stakeholders to translate use cases into scalable AI architectures, pipelines, and production-ready workflows.

You will guide prototyping through production, mentor engineers, and ensure robust evaluation, security, and governance across AI systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years hands-on Generative AI/Agentic AI/LLM solutions.
• Strong Python development experience.
• Experience building production-level LLM applications and RAG architectures.
• Experience with API integration, cloud-native architectures, and enterprise systems.
• Experience with prompt engineering and LLM evaluation.
• Ability to lead technical design discussions while remaining hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and hands-on development of enterprise-grade Agentic AI and LLM solutions.
• Design and implement AI agent workflows using LLMs, RAG, tool calling, APIs, and orchestration frameworks.
• Build scalable solutions that connect LLMs with enterprise data sources, APIs, applications, and backend services.
• Define technical approaches for model selection, prompting, embeddings, vector databases, retrieval pipelines, and orchestration.
• Translate business requirements into practical AI architectures, designs, and implementation roadmaps.
• Establish frameworks for evaluating AI performance including accuracy, latency, and cost.
• Implement production safeguards including access controls and human-in-the-loop review.
• Partner with stakeholders to move AI solutions from prototype to production.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers while remaining hands-on.
• Document solution architectures, workflows, decisions, and integration patterns.
