Juniper Communities seeks an integrated wellness leader to manage the day-to-day operations of the Wellness component in our senior living community. The role ensures resident safety, functional ability and wellbeing, and leads the wellness team.

The position reports to the Leadership Team, with mentorship and growth opportunities, and offers a starting salary from $70,000 per year with room for experienced nurses to negotiate higher rates.

Formación

• Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures
• Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
• LPN (Required)
• RN (Preferred)
• BLS Certification (Preferred, not required)

Responsabilidades

• Perform continuous, ongoing supervision of all wellness department team members, including but not limited to recruiting, retaining, training, disciplining, counseling, motivating, scheduling and evaluating; establishes and builds rapport among team members to facilitate teamwork.
• Observe patients/residents under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications, etc.; Monitor and record vital signs; Administers prescribed medications, injections, wound care, collect lab samples and other basic medical care tasks; Provides assistance as necessary with activities of daily living
• Coordinates and implements regularly scheduled wellness meetings; ensures compliance of Wellness Department relative to federal, state, local and company regulations and policies
• Maintain liaison role by ensuring effective communication with other members of the team, residents, families and medical professionals
• Responsible for reporting on operation of Wellness Department to ensure continuity of care; keeping department on budget within established guidelines and submits recommendations for budget completion, equipment and supplies
