Job summary

Juniper Communities in New Jersey seeks an experienced RN leader to oversee the Wellness component of the community, ensuring residents' safety, functional abilities, and wellbeing. You will supervise the Wellness team, manage schedules, and ensure care aligns with regulations and policies.

You will collaborate with families, medical professionals, and home office leadership to maintain high-quality care, stay within budget, and drive continuous improvement of the wellness program.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing is required.
• BLS Certification preferred, not required.
• Experience in healthcare or service-related management is preferred.
• Familiarity with senior care health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Knowledge of applicable governmental regulations.
• Knowledge of physiology and psychology of the older adult.

Responsibilities

• Perform continuous supervision of Wellness Department team members, including recruiting, training, scheduling, and evaluating.
• Observe residents, monitor vital signs, administer medications and basic care tasks.
• Coordinate and lead regularly scheduled wellness meetings.
• Maintain effective communication with team, residents, families, and medical professionals.
• Report on Wellness Department operations and manage budget within guidelines.
