Job summary

Atria Senior Living - Grapevine is seeking a dedicated Transportation Driver to provide safe, courteous service for residents on daily routes.

You will operate community vehicles, assist residents, perform basic maintenance, and coordinate with leadership to ensure on-time travel. CDL and a strong driving record are required; prior experience with seniors a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five+ years of driving experience.
• Commercial driver's license required to operate commercial size vehicles.
• Able to operate a seven to sixteen passenger vehicle and related equipment.
• Knowledgeable of streets within an 8-mile radius of the community.
• Must meet Atria's Motor Vehicle Record Policy standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, courteous transportation service for residents.
• Drive vehicle to communities destinations according to schedule.
• Assist residents into and out of vehicle safely.
• Secure passengers' wheelchairs during trips.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report issues.
• Maintain trip and maintenance records.
• Deliver groceries or belongings to residents' apartments as needed.
• Support Engage Life Department in activities and programs.
