TerraBella Senior Living is seeking a Driver to join Summit Place of South Park. Responsible for providing timely transportation for residents to activities, assisting with wheelchairs, and ensuring safety during trips.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Current commercial driver’s license (CDL) may be required with an acceptable driving record in accordance with Federal Department of Transportation regulations.
• Experience in customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting.
• Must be knowledgeable of all safety precautions and comply with safety measures.
• Competent in organization, time management skills and handling multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to and from activities.
• Assist disabled passengers into and out of vehicle.
• Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trips.
• Safely operate radio, cell phone or pager to communicate with base station or other vehicles.
• Maintain community vehicles in good working condition.
• Clean and service vehicles with fuel, lubricants and accessories.
• Assist with vehicle registration and license plates renewal process.
• Inspect and document vehicle condition monthly and per trip.
