Job summary

TerraBella Senior Living is seeking a Driver for our Salisbury community. The role involves transporting residents to activities and events, assisting mobility-impaired passengers, and ensuring vehicle safety and cleanliness.

We value reliability and customer service in a senior living setting. A CDL may be required depending on route and regulation, and adherence to safety standards is essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Current CDL may be required with an acceptable driving record.
• Experience in customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting.
• Must be knowledgeable of all safety precautions and comply with safety measures.
• Competent in organization, time management skills and handling multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to and from activities.
• Assist disabled passengers into and out of vehicle.
• Secure wheelchairs to restraint devices during trips.
• Safely operate radio/cell phone/pager to communicate with base station or other vehicles.
• Maintain community vehicles in good working condition.
• Clean and service vehicles with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Assist with vehicle registration and license plate renewals.
• Inspect and document vehicle condition on a monthly and per trip basis.
