Job summary

TerraBella Senior Living is seeking a Part‑Time Driver for TerraBella Hermitage to provide reliable transportation for residents to activities while delivering courteous service. You will ensure safety, assist passengers, and represent TerraBella with professionalism.

Responsibilities include assisting passengers, securing wheelchairs, maintaining vehicles, handling registrations, and coordinating with the base station to ensure timely pickups and safe, comfortable trips within the community and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• CDL may be required with acceptable driving record.
• Experience in customer service, preferably in a senior living setting.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Assist disabled passengers into and out of vehicle.
• Secure passengers’ wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip.
• Safely operate radio, cell phone, or pager to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report disruption of service.
• Maintain all community vehicles in good working condition.
• Clean and service vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Assist with vehicle registration and license plates renewal process.
• Inspect and document vehicle condition on a monthly and per trip basis.

Qualifications

• Current commercial driver’s license (CDL) may be required with an acceptable driving record in accordance with Federal Department of Transportation regulations.
• Experience in customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting.
• Must be knowledgeable of all safety precautions and comply with safety measures.
• Competent in organization, time management skills and handling multiple priorities.
