Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Culinary education preferred, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Executive Chef to run the department within budget.
• Ensure resident satisfaction with a premier dining experience.
• Direct all back- and front-of-house staff.
• Maintain department records per regulations.
• Plan menus and prepare meals; coordinate events.
• Control inventory and purchase supplies.
• Assist recruitment: interview, hire, train staff.
• Cover shifts as needed.
• Prepare meals per menus, recipes, dietary guidelines.
• Safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain professional appearance.
• Assist in all kitchen operations as needed.

Education
