Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a team dedicated to improving the lives of senior patients.

The role emphasizes individualized patient care, evidence-based practices, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to deliver swallowing and communication therapies. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements, comprehensive benefits, PTO, licensure reimbursement, and ongoing CEU

Qualifications

• Masters degree in speech-language pathology.
• Current state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligible to obtain before starting.
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments.
• Establish treatment goals and develop therapy programs based on a full clinical evaluation.
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate the plan of care for patients.
• Treat residents one-on-one with private treatment sessions using a functional-based approach.
