Job summary

StoryPoint Independence is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport senior residents safely and courteously from a location in Independence, OH. The role requires a clean driving record and a valid license, with a schedule spanning Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm and alternating weekends, at $15 per hour.

Responsibilities include assisting residents on/off the bus, logging trips, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and performing daily safety inspections.

Qualifications

• 3 years driving a shuttle, bus, or similar vehicle.
• Chauffeur's License; must have a clean driving record.
• Compassionate & Care for seniors.
• Ability to be timely, patient, and accommodating; familiar with local area.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• You love to laugh and have fun while working hard to provide excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents getting on and off the bus, using lift or transfers as needed.
• Completes bus trip log; follows route priorities for efficiency.
• Maintains cleanliness of interior and exterior of the bus.
• Fills out daily inspection log at trip start and submits it.
• Maintain a positive attitude to support team performance.
