Job summary

Erickson Senior Living Charlestown is seeking a Driver to safely transport residents, staff, and visitors within the gated retirement community. You will operate non-CDL buses, vans, and sedans with wheelchair ramps, assist passengers, and perform pre/post-trip inspections.

A valid state license and DOT certificate are required, along with at least 3 years of driving experience and a road test demonstrating safe operation.

Qualifications

Valid State driver's license and maintained as a condition of employment
Minimum of 3 years of verifiable driving experience
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age to drive
Ability to operate vehicles with wheelchair ramps and lifts and securement systems
Road test must be passed to demonstrate safe vehicle operation
State regulations may apply and take precedence

Responsibilities

Transport residents, staff, and visitors on scheduled and unscheduled trips
Operate non-CDL passenger buses, vans, and sedans with ramps/lifts
Assist passengers with boarding and alighting
Prepare vehicles for use; perform pre/post-trip inspections and refueling
Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and log vehicle usage
