Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Food Handler Card a plus.
• 6–12 months of serving, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality settings desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests warmly, creating a positive dining atmosphere.
• Take meal orders accurately and deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Ensure meals meet residents’ dietary requirements and preferences, including portions.
• Serve with a smile to create a welcoming dining experience.
• Set tables with linens, utensils and glassware before each service.
• Clear tables promptly and maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Reset tables for the next service.
• Relay resident feedback to Culinary Director or kitchen staff.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines and Cogir standards.
• Comply with local health department regulations.
