Job summary

Oakmont Management Group’s Sea Bluffs, Ivy Signature Living in Dana Point, CA seeks a Server for full-time and part-time shifts (6:00 AM–2:00 PM and 4:00 PM–9:00 PM). The role focuses on friendly, courteous service, taking orders into the POS, and supporting a safe dining environment for residents and guests.

Experience is welcome but not necessary; training is provided. Must be 16+, with a work permit, and able to pass background checks, health screenings, and TB tests.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, residents, and families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• Vaccination/testing and PPE may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, courteous manner.
• Take residents' and guests’ food and beverage orders and enter into the POS.
• Set up and break down tables.
• Maintain proper serving techniques/etiquette.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
