Job summary

Bickford Senior Living in Crystal Lake, IL is hiring a Server to support the culinary team in our Bread Basket dining experience. This role involves serving residents, interacting during meals, and helping keep the dining area clean according to Bickford procedures.

We offer full-time, part-time, and PRN options with benefits starting after 30 days. Pay is available daily and a 401(k) with employer match is provided. A Food Handlers Card is preferred.

Qualifications

• Food Handlers Card or willingness to obtain one.
• Exhibit a learner's mindset and willingness to learn.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid organizational and time-management abilities.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve food timely utilizing Bickford's process.
• Interact with residents in the Dining Room during meals to enhance their dining experience.
• Wash dishes, pots and pans following Bickford's dishwashing procedure.
• Complete assigned tasks from the Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule.
• Maintain dining room and dish machine area to meet Bickford's expectations for cleanliness.
