Job summary

Parkshore Juanita Bay, part of Transforming Age, is hiring a Server to join our team in Kirkland, WA. The role involves assisting residents with meal selections, presenting menus, taking orders, and delivering meals in a caring senior living environment.

Ideal candidates have prior server experience, 6+ months in long-term care or related fields, and proficiency with POS systems. Strong English communication skills are required. This is an on-site position at our Kirland facility.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Previous server experience highly preferred.
• 6 months or more in long term care, home care or related field preferred.
• Software experience using POS (point-of-sale) transactional systems
• Must possess effective English verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with meal selection, orders, and serving.
• Present menu to residents, record orders and relay to kitchen.
• Deliver food promptly and assist residents as needed.
• Clear and reset tables for next service.
• Assist with light back of house/kitchen duties as needed.
• Observe residents to ensure safety in dining areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
