Job summary

MorningStar Kirkland is actively seeking a Dining Room Server to join our senior living community in Kirkland, WA. This full-time role provides high-quality meal service, accurate order-taking, and a gracious dining environment for our cherished residents.

You will relay orders to kitchen staff, deliver excellent customer care, and support a culture of servant-leadership, respect, and teamwork. Prior dietary facility or restaurant experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Provide high-quality meals and maintain gracious dining environment.
• Deliver exceptional customer service in all resident interactions.

Responsibilities

• Be present in dining room for full meal service.
• Assist special functions as scheduled.
• Maintain high cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitary environment.
• Oversee bistro areas: food presentation, cleanliness, stock, beverages.
• Know the daily specials and how prepared/presented.
• Learn resident names, dietary needs, and preferences.
• Serve hot foods hot and cold foods cold.
• Participate in trainings and meetings.
