Job summary

Dogwood Terrace by Barclay House in Richmond, VA is seeking a dedicated server to provide gracious hospitality to residents and guests in a resort-style senior living community. You will guide menus, help in the bar and coffee shop, and ensure cleanliness and timely service.

The role requires a high school diploma, hospitality experience, ServSafe certification if required, and flexibility for holidays and events.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
ServSafe Certification if required by state regulations.
Food server/hospitality experience required.
Bar Card preferred if state requirements allow.
Willingness to work with elderly in a senior living environment and meet hospitality standards.
Knowledge of POS systems.
Flexible with holidays, weekends, and special events.

Responsibilities

Ensure residents and guests receive gracious hospitality and a pleasant dining experience.
Assist in Bar and Coffee Shop as scheduled.
Guide guests through menus with knowledge of food and beverages.
Maintain appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards in dining areas.
Take accurate orders and deliver food promptly in a world-class service manner.
Set and reset tables per company standards.
Assist with meal preparation if requested.
Maintain stock levels of bar, coffee shop and front of house.
Assist with special events and activities as requested.
