Job summary

Pivotal Health Care's Colonial Village Overland Park community is seeking a Scheduling and Nursing Support Manager to lead and coach a team of CNA and CMA staff while overseeing all nursing scheduling.

This role maintains nursing supplies inventory, ensures regulatory compliance, participates in leadership meetings, and partners with the DON to uphold the community's philosophy of caring for residents with dignity and safety.

Qualifications

• Certified CNA or CMA with supervisory experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Scheduling experience in long-term care preferred.
• Basic computer skills and internet navigation; good typing.
• Excellent phone skills with customer service focus.
• Read/write English fluently.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and lead CNA and CMA staff, including interviews.
• Schedule all nursing staff within budget guidelines.
• Evaluate performance and provide coaching or disciplinary actions as needed.
• Oversee development and training compliance for CNA/CMA staff.
• Ensure use of Point Click Care (POC) by staff.
• Oversee meal service and related operations.
• Review and approve time sheets and PTO requests.
• Attend leadership and team meetings; ensure staff attend trainings.
• Uphold CMS/CDC policies and community regulations.
• Collaborate with DON on goals and initiatives.
• Support quality of care and residents' quality of life goals.
• Follow safety policies and infection control guidelines.
• Follow Emergency Preparedness plans.
• Respect residents' rights and promote positive relations with residents and families.
• Contribute to Medicare Triple Check processes.
• Maintain nursing supplies inventory and place orders.
• Participate in call rotation and on-duty nursing.
