Winchester Gardens in Maplewood, NJ, is seeking an experienced Director of Sales for a full-time on-site role. You will lead the sales team, drive market strategies, manage moves from inquiry to deposit, and ensure program compliance with SSL guidelines.

Ideal candidates have five+ years in a comparable role with two years in management and experience in senior housing or related fields. The position offers PTO, holidays, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in a comparable position preferred; marketing/public relations or sales background is desirable.
• Two years sales and marketing experience in senior housing or related industry.
• Two years’ experience in managing teams.

Responsibilities

• Participates in market planning and contributes ideas to leadership on goals.
• Assists in hiring, motivating and training Sales Counselors and Coordinators.
• Monitors and improves sales effectiveness and program adherence.
• Manages the sales process from inquiry to deposit to move-in.
• Meets sales activity, ratio and move-in objectives.
• Maintains accurate communications and documents in the Aline leads system.
• Promotes the sales process via calls, visits, text, email, tours and home visits.
• Reviews weekly/monthly sales and updates the leads system.
• Keeps updated on relevant market and company information.
• Staffs the office during business hours, including evenings and weekends.
