Job summary

Encore Senior Living’s The Courtyard at McHenry is seeking a motivated Sales Counselor to develop relationships with older adults and families, grow the community census, and partner with the Director of Sales & Marketing to generate leads and schedule tours.

You will track leads in Yardi, conduct external business development, and work with a team focused on dignity and personalized service. A high school diploma is required and this full‑time role offers benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
• Senior living (or related field) and sales background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with older adults and community members daily.
• Generate leads, schedule and conduct tours, and follow up with potential residents.
• Track and maintain leads in Yardi CRM and conduct external business development.
• Build and grow referrals, close sales, and support moves-ins.
