Job summary
Fairmont on Clayton in Richmond Heights, MO seeks an experienced RN to provide direct nursing care and supervise LPNs and Nursing Assistants. The role ensures compliance with current standards and promotes a safe, therapeutic environment for residents.
A supervisory background is preferred, with strong knowledge of long-term care regulations. The successful candidate will uphold dignity and respect for residents and staff, participating in Montessorian-inspired living principles and lifestyle
Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing and licensed to practice
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to read and write clearly in English
- Experience in supervisory capacity desirable
- Knowledge of nursing practices and applicable laws and regulations
- Familiarity with long-term care regulations preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents
- Supervise day-to-day nursing activities by LPNs and Nursing Assistants
- Ensure highest quality of care in accordance with federal, state and local standards
- Collaborate with Nursing Services Director, Nurse Supervisor and Administration
- Maintain dignity, respect and a positive environment for residents and staff
