Job summary

Fairmont on Clayton in Richmond Heights, MO seeks an experienced RN to provide direct nursing care and supervise LPNs and Nursing Assistants. The role ensures compliance with current standards and promotes a safe, therapeutic environment for residents.

A supervisory background is preferred, with strong knowledge of long-term care regulations. The successful candidate will uphold dignity and respect for residents and staff, participating in Montessorian-inspired living principles and lifestyle

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing and licensed to practice
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to read and write clearly in English
• Experience in supervisory capacity desirable
• Knowledge of nursing practices and applicable laws and regulations
• Familiarity with long-term care regulations preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities by LPNs and Nursing Assistants
• Ensure highest quality of care in accordance with federal, state and local standards

General Purpose

To provide direct nursing care to the residents and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Licensed Practical Nurses and Nursing Assistants in accordance with current federal, state and local standards governing the facility, and as may be directed by the Director of Nursing Services, Nurse Supervisor and Administration, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is always maintained.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing and currently licensed by the State of Wisconsin or in training to satisfactorily complete the requirements to become a Registered Nurse
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must show ability to read and write in a legible and understandable manner
• Must speak and understand English
• Previous experience in a supervisory capacity desirable
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws
• Knowledge of regulations and guidelines governing long-term care desirable
