StoneBridge Senior Living seeks an experienced RN to supervise nursing staff and coordinate resident care in a long-term care setting. The RN will oversee nursing services, educate staff, and ensure adherence to physician orders and care plans.

Formación

• Must have a current RN license.
• CPR certification required; additional nursing specialty certs are desirable.
• Prefer 2 years' experience in a long-term care setting.
• Basic computer skills and experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises nursing care provided by nursing assistants and others under supervision.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities per policies and laws.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work of nursing team members (CNAs/CMTs).
• Prepares work assignment sheets considering resident safety and staff capability.
• Reports staff shortages to nursing management.
• Participates in performance evaluations and related processes.
• Schedules and adjusts breaks per resident needs and labor laws.
• Receives and resolves employee complaints and monitors performance.
• Coordinates nursing care to ensure appropriate staffing.
• Delivers safe and accurate medication-related interventions and documentation.
• Transcribes and coordinates physician orders.
• Performs nursing assessments and notifies physician of status changes.
• Uses INTERACT program to reduce unplanned hospital discharges.
• Develops and implements care plans based on assessments.
• Checks emergency equipment and medication supplies.
• Follows facility policies and procedures.
