Job summary

O'Brien Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead unit turns and common area renovations in occupied senior living communities. You will drive projects from planning to completion, guiding field operations teams, optimizing equipment, and championing safety practices.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering/construction management, at least five years of construction project experience, proficiency with Procore, and a valid Michigan driver’s

Minimum of five years of experience on construction projects.
Proficiency with Procore.
Valid State of Michigan driver's license.

Responsibilities

Oversee field operations and budgets to keep projects on time and within budget.
Coordinate with site superintendents to maintain productive collaboration.
Communicate company objectives and targets to crews for alignment.
Ensure availability of materials, equipment, and manpower across sites.
Supervise workforce needs and optimize workforce efficiency.
Monitor equipment usage to support cost-effective field operations.
Stay updated on industry best practices and safety innovations.
Identify and resolve issues using available resources.
Collaborate with superintendents to implement better operational methods.
Support Foreman meetings and leadership development across teams.
Partner with Safety to enforce safe work practices and risk management.
