Job summary

The Aspenwood Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead and optimize the performance of senior living communities within the assigned region. You will guide executive directors, shape strategic plans, and work with the CFO on budgets and capital guidelines, ensuring high service standards for residents and strict regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or healthcare administration required.
• Master's degree in healthcare administration or business management preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of multicommunity leadership experience in the senior living industry.
• Experience with senior living financial and sales reporting software (preferably Yardi).
• Strong communication, leadership, and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct day-to-day oversight of operations and management for communities within the assigned region.
• Collaborate with senior management to provide operational guidance, establish strategic operating goals, and develop strategies to achieve them.
• Partner with the CFO to drive annual community budgets and implement budget guidelines.
• Ensure strategic goals are communicated clearly and implemented across field management teams.
• Identify trends impacting outcomes and implement corrective practices to improve performance.
• Evaluate performance by analyzing data and metrics.
• Lead planning initiatives with Senior Leadership.
• Coach and develop direct reports and executives; manage performance.
• Set annual team and individual goals aligned with organizational objectives.
• Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal regulations.
