Job summary

The Springs Living, LLC in Lake Oswego, OR is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house therapy team. You will deliver person-centered interventions to adults with a range of diagnoses, supporting aging in place and mobility, independence, and well-being.

This part-time role (about 30 hours/week) emphasizes collaboration with licensed therapists, careful documentation, and education for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited therapy program - PTA
• Current state licensure
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Results-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Perform initial screenings for new residents and referrals to determine therapy needs.
• Assist in evaluation and data collection to support treatment planning under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Communicate evaluation findings with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions aligned with goals, following standards and facility procedures.
• Monitor and document treatment times, progress notes, and outcomes per state and federal regulations.
• Adjust treatment plans based on resident response and physician guidance to maximize outcomes.
