Job summary

Holiday by Atria in Temecula, CA seeks kitchen staff to assist with meal preparation and presentation while delivering exceptional resident service. You will work closely with the Executive/Sous Chef to maintain sanitary, organized kitchens and follow recipes and standards for all meals.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and communicate effectively in English with residents and staff.
• Food handlers permit required by law/local/state and/or company standards.
• ServSafe certification is required.
• Able to read recipes and production guides.
• Knowledge of food handling, preparation, cooking and service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and presentation of meals.
• Provide high level of customer service.
• Work with Executive/ Sous Chef to satisfy residents with food and dining programs.
• Maintain kitchen in a clean, safe, sanitary condition at all times.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules and ensure food handling according to company standards.
• Assist with transportation and storage of food and supplies.
• Assist cooks as requested and adhere to food safety practices.
• Prepare and execute special events, banquets, and theme meals.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment in a clean and sanitary manner.
• Attend pre-meal stand-up in the kitchen.
• May perform other duties as needed.
