Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of job-related experience in food preparation preferred.
• Culinary apprenticeship or formal culinary training preferred.

• Ability to follow standardized recipes and food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items using standardized recipes in a timely manner.
• Coordinate food preparation with serving hours to support meal service.
• Monitor food items to ensure temperature, taste, and quality.
• Present menu items according to recipes and cycles.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety in the kitchen.
• Follow safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Oversee proper food storage with labeling and date checks.
• Complete assigned cleaning duties for kitchen and prep areas.
• Adhere to local and federal food handling regulations.
• Maintain temperature records and food safety equipment.
