Discovery Village at the Forum - AL is looking for a Cook to play a vital role in enhancing the lives of seniors through exceptional culinary experiences. In this full-time or part-time position, you will prepare and present delicious meals while ensuring a safe and clean kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior living or a similar environment preferred.
• Knowledge of production methods, portion control, and food safety/handling required.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced kitchen.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
• High attention to detail, especially in presentation and plating.
• Availability to work weekends as part of the regular schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of hot and cold menu items, including grill and sauté station.
• Follow standardized recipes for preparation, portioning, and presentation of food.
• Taste and check food quality and adherence to culinary standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of food preparation areas.
• Support a safe, sanitary, and efficient kitchen environment.
• Collaborate with the culinary team for a great dining experience.
