Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking a Prep Cook to accurately prepare and present meals for residents of a senior living environment. You will follow standardized recipes, maintain high sanitation standards, and assist with special diets and safety procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma, a current Food Handler’s Permit, and familiarity with kitchen equipment. Training in ServSafe or state sanitation is a plus; weekend and holiday hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Current Food Handler’s Permit is required.
• State sanitation certificate preferred.
• ServSafe training beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present meals for residents per recipes.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards in line with regulations.
• Assist with allergy and special-diet requirements and portion control.
• Read orders and prepare foods accordingly and plate with garnish.
