Benchmark Senior Living is seeking an experienced Director of Plant Operations/Maintenance Director for The Branches of Marlboro to lead maintenance, housekeeping, and overall facilities operations in our assisted living community.

This hands-on leadership role oversees electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and preventive maintenance while managing staff, payroll, expenses, and capital projects to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and a welcoming environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience running maintenance and housekeeping in a long-term care or assisted living setting.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems with HVAC emphasis.
• Ability to lead and supervise a team and coordinate with staff and residents.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate repairs and alterations to buildings and equipment systems.
• Provide technical guidance and quality assurance support.
• Establish and monitor a preventive maintenance program for safety and aesthetics.
• Maintain OSHA and fire code compliance.
• Oversee maintenance and housekeeping staff, payroll, and expenses.
• Lead capital expenditures and vendor management as needed.
• Ensure strong communication with residents and staff.
