Benchmark Senior Living’s Bay Square at Yarmouth is seeking a Maintenance Director/Plant Operations Director to oversee maintenance and housekeeping in an assisted living facility. The role requires hands-on work in electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance, coupled with staff supervision and budget oversight.

The position emphasizes interaction with staff and residents, plus payroll, operating expenses and capital expenditures in a growing team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a maintenance and housekeeping department
• Strong supervisory skills and communication ability
• Hands-on maintenance expertise in building systems including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing

Responsibilities

• Coordinate repairs and alterations to buildings and equipment
• Provide technical guidance and QA for maintenance tasks
• Establish and monitor a preventative maintenance program
• Ensure OSHA compliance and fire code adherence
