Covenant Living is seeking a Baker or Pastry Chef to prepare breads, cakes, pastries, and desserts for residents in a senior living environment. You will create recipes, order ingredients, and coordinate baking schedules while maintaining high sanitation and compliance with regulations.

The role emphasizes quality, accuracy, and attention to dietary needs, with responsibilities for inventory management and adherence to standardized recipes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current Food Handler’s Permit is required; Servsafe training is beneficial.
• State sanitation certificate required; 4+ years baking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees preparation of baked goods for residents in a Senior Living/Healthcare environment.
• Follow standardized recipes to ensure consistent quality and proper quantities.
• Maintain high sanitation standards per regulations and company standards.
• Develop recipes and select menu items for cycles; manage inventory and equipment.
