Job summary

Qualifications

• Certificate/License per state
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, public health, or related field
• 3–5 years of leadership experience in long-term care or healthcare administration
• Knowledge of regulations and licensure for assisted living
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively
• Strong financial, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Experience with EHRs and state reporting systems preferred
• Must pass criminal background check to serve vulnerable adults
• Reading, writing and comprehension of English

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and local regulations
• Ensure health, safety, and well-being of all residents with high care standards
• Supervise and support department leaders for coordinated service delivery
• Recruit, hire, train, and retain qualified staff; promote a positive workplace culture
• Oversee budgeting, billing, payroll, and expense management; meet occupancy and revenue goals
• Build relationships with residents, families, staff, and the community
• Lead quality assurance and improvement initiatives; respond to concerns promptly
• Participate in marketing and outreach to maintain census levels
• Maintain documentation and reporting per licensing and audits
• Other duties as assigned
