Job summary

Homewood Living Plum Creek is seeking an Associate Executive Director to oversee operations across Environmental Services, Food Service, Community Services, Therapeutic Recreation, Wellness and Volunteer departments.

The role partners with the Executive Director to ensure fiscal discipline, regulatory compliance and high-quality services for residents. Strong leadership, budgeting and development skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, health care or other related field of study.
• Experience in finance, governmental regulations, policy formulation, public relations, marketing, health law, and organizational management.
• Senior living and/or long-term care experience preferred.
• Management ability including communication, reasoning, and coaching.
• Knowledge of delegation and motivational concepts.
• Demonstrated leadership, initiative and dependability.
• Licensure as a nursing home administrator desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Environmental Services, Food Service, Community Services, Therapeutic Recreation, Wellness and Volunteer departments.
• Hire, train and evaluate department directors; support staff development.
• Monitor budgets and ensure sound fiscal operations.
• Support sales, nursing and other leaders in service delivery and regulatory compliance.
• Assist Executive Director with program and facility expansion planning.
• Coordinate managers to deliver quality service efficiently and economically.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and corporate policies.
• Engage consultants to meet organizational objectives and manage contracts.
• Maintain good relations with residents, staff and the public.
• Protect residents' and staff's rights and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
